Quora: Who Offers SAT and ACT Tutor Training?
TPAPT has a remote training & certification course for people interested in tutoring either the SAT, or the ACT, or specific sections from either.
We launched in 2015 and both our SAT tutor training and ACT tutor training have evolved with the official SAT and ACT.
Our pedagogy combines contemporary education theory with a proprietary curriculum created by a small-but-mighty team of experienced training tutors. The content in the curriculum is normed every year through a cohort of approximately 10,000 test takers.
Most of the ACT/SAT tutor training is on demand, with the overall program length between 10-20 hours(depending on whether you are a section specialist of a full test tutor). There is also a final exam, and a short practicum.
