The Association of Test Prep, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is a national not-for- profit association founded to support independent tutors, owner-operators, and test preparation professionals.
Our mission is to empower independent educators and local schools with targeted infrastructure support so that they can amplify student access & equity to high quality independent educational services such as private tutoring and college advising.
Our members include owner-operator tutors, IECs, and test prep professionals and our broader network includes venture capital firms, angel-investors, and not-for-profit program directors.

History
TPAPT was founded in 2009 by Test Prep & Tutoring Industry expert Kevin Organisciak. Kevin spent 10 years as a senior executive with Kaplan Test Prep & Admissions. While at Kaplan, Kevin co-created the industry’s first “Higher Score Guarantee” and earned multiple awards for Student Score Improvement and P & L Management.
